Country, at least where I am from, gets made fun of, a lot. To me though, it sounds like going home, and it's safe. Regardless of how many alternative or indie artists I promote, or how many foreign artists I cannot get enough of, sometimes there is nothing better than country music to make you feel good. Country leaves no room for weakness; the lyrics preach strength and consistently moving forward and, while they don't necessarily preach forgiveness, neither do I. I love country and the lyrics always aim at lifting you up; it's great.
