Self described as "the new French sound of blue-eyed soul", the latest album from Moonshoes (recorded by Gilles Paulet) offers a modern retrospective listening experience of the pop-soul disco/jazz sounds of the past.
The focus lies mainly within the instrumentation of the track, yet the sound remains reminiscent of some great artists, including Stevie Wonder, The Bee Gees, Electric Light Orchestra, and Jamiroquai.
The music video, featuring images from Soul Train, perfectly mirrors the fun, relaxed vibe which is so prevalent in the song itself.
